🎬 Movie Night · two recommenders, one viewer

Every night both recommenders suggest a film from the same shelf, each with one live call to the Jepela API. Rate what they suggest: 😍 loved it, 😐 meh, or 🚫 no more of that genre. The plain recommender forgets every rating. The Jepela recommender writes a “loved” into memory as a line, and a “no more” as a rule that removes that genre in code. Rate with your own taste, or let Alex (loves science fiction, hates horror) rate for eight nights.

Model jepela-english. Nothing is scripted: both recommenders ask the same engine the same question from the same shelf, minus the films each has already suggested. Measured on 2026-09-28 with Alex rating: in 8 nights the plain recommender suggested 3 science-fiction films and horror twice (once after Alex banned it); the Jepela recommender suggested horror once, then it was removed in code, and suggested 5 science-fiction films. Its jump on night 3 came from the horror ban changing the choice; nights 4 to 7 came from the lines its “loved” ratings wrote.
